Of course, they only have the major players in the child forums above, so... this is dedicated to a few of the lesser characters who were killed off more or less. Feel free to discuss any deaths mentioned here that you are sad about; I will edit this regularly when ever someone new dies off.

mainly because whenver I hear his name, immeditly comes to my head "ARTZ PARTZ!"
And I have to laugh
Ethans death should've came sooner, he was a prick
Dannielle was one of the great characters, to survive on the island 16 years is good
i was expecting a flashback of her, but it looks like it'll never happen
And I think the doctor on the boat was only called "doc" I never heard a name

I appreciate the compliment. Also, I just found out that the doctor's name was never explored, and that he was simply called "Ray."

yeh i thought it was a bit unfair about how danielle went 16 years surviving, meets her daughter then dies....maybe the island let her die after she'd told her daughter the truth
yeh i was kinda sad when the captain died, i was starting to like him, and i like his accent too

Yeah, Danielle was definitely a character I was sorry to see go. However, when you consider it, I really wonder if her storyline had much more to go. With Carl dying, and then her, that was a heck of a way for the episode to end. And then, awww, poor Alex... the last thing she hears Ben say is that she doesn't matter (not meaning it, of course).
An interview I read with Cuse and Lindelof quoted them as saying, "Even if she dies, we'll finish her story." I wonder, and I ask that we stay away from theory in this thread as much as possible, if they move the island into the past and stumble upon Danielle's group when they first arrive. Of course, this probably will not happen; I'm just trying to make sense of the claim that "we'll finish her story." Interesting.
In terms of what part the Island had to play in her death, consider this: for 16 some-odd years, the woman has been trying to find her daughter. Note, one of Danielle's last lines to Alex is "I love you." Perhaps that's where the Island saw fit to end her story, after telling her long-lost daughter what she's been holding inside all those years. It's cheesy, I know, but maybe the Island has a soft-spot for family reunions.

we may get a danielle story through another character. i liked her too and was sad to see her die.
heres more: nikki and paulo. they were so insignificant. i have to say that i was not sad they left, but thought they were worth mentioning for anyone that is.

And CBF, I would have mentioned Libby, but there is already a "deceased" thread about her. This is merely a thread for those who didn't play a big enough part in the series to get a thread of their own (a la Alex and Karl). In fact, now that Danielle has a thread, I am eliminating her from the list. This thread is meant merely to commemorate those characters whose absence is not nearly as potent to the audience to make an entire topic based on them.
At least, that was the intention.

I m sure we will be able to see their story even if they are dead,maybe through bens or richards flasbacks..
