I have been on a site trying to find out what those damn glyphs stood for.
My translation is patchy but I get:

The 2 red symbols alone would mean:
Drop Death

Oh yeah Drop Death could that be a nuke, after all the hatch did have blast doors. Could not entering the numbers also suggest that Locke triggered the start of the end of the world.
One last thing, why would there even be Egyptian glyphs? When most of Losts 'Mythology and Religion' Comes from Asia...?
