I hope someone can help. I went to watch the show when CK gave me the information. It said that I needed to "trick" my computer into thinking it was registered for something (I don't remember what). So I did it and now my aol says I have an old browser, tried updating, and I now I can't watch any videos from any site. I tried system restore, but there isn't a restore point. I went back to this website and the info isn't there. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about and how t fix it? Thanks!

Well, can you go into more detail about "tricking" your computer. I don't really understand lol. Can you tell me which site, the one in the original post is giving me a 404 error?
Right now, I'd just recommend going to firefox rather than IE7 if you're on it currently. It is safer and faster. Hopefully, after more details I'll have a solution or another user will

The webside is surfthechannel and I got it from Tudou. It said I needed to trick my browser into thinking I had something that I didn't. I copy and pasted what it had up (I can't find it now). It was something called fix registration. I will look for it again and post when I find it. It is so frustrating. Here is what aol is saying:

- AOL Explorer (Windows Only)
- Safari (Apple Only)
- Mozilla Firefox
So I downloaded the aol explorer, and still the same thing. ARGH!!!!!!!!!

I'd say go into Control Panel. Go to Uninstall Programs and see if it installed any program, that "fix registration". See if an uninstall will fix it. I still recommend getting Mozilla Firefox, more advantages

I downloaded firefox and now I can get into my aol account, but I can't watch anything on youtube. It says I need the latest version of Adobe flash, so I downloaded it. It also says I have Java turned off. I can't even find Java on my computer, but it was there is morning. I am sure I'll figure it out. Thanks everyone for your help.

Lol, what you're describing is a home page.
Firefox is a browser, a "portal" to the internet, so it's like Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), Safari, etc.
