I forget which season it was, but when the hatch exploded, a plane a) knew where the island was, b) knew how to safely fly over it without crashing. Am I wrong? Isn't Whitmoore trying to find the Island? Cause if someone (maybe the Dharma Initiative) knows where the Island is, then shouldn't Whitmoore just find out from them?

i guess that was a dharma plane dropping food supplies just routinely. because, dharma may not know that the initiative was taken over by the hostiles. Aren't there more than one dharma camp all over the world?
