Maybe she was in the asylum because of her husbands death or perhaps a darker version would be that she caused it and pleaded insanity.

It stills kill me the no explanation about her being on the same institution hurley was. I wanted to know the story behind that. Im still curious!
I think that this has to be revealed sometime, she is on michaelīs episodes, she has to come back somehow! maybe flashbacks

the strike is over. They are in production right now and the new eps starts the 24th. They are only making 5 more eps instead of 8 though.
