i think the show would seem kind of empty without him.  no, hes not my favorite, but hes a necisary part of the show

I think if a character dies , it depends on how they die if its going to make me cry. I cried when Boone died, it was sad and drawn out and he had to suffer. I cried when Charlie died cause It was a horrible way for somebody to die, and again drawn out and the reason behind him dying. I cried when Sun shot colleen, because I really wanted to get to know her character. LOL JK.

The way they do die does effect how emotional their death is
