Carlton Cuse: Well Mittelos is a uh acronym for “lost time”

Carlton Cuse: Which um is not a randomly chosen acronym would you say?

Damon Lindelof: I. I would say nothing on the show is randomly chosen but I’d be lying.

Carlton Cuse: So uh I think the notion of how time relates to the uh Others and their travels back and forth to the Island is something the show will be exploring very soon.

There was alot more in this "interview" as well but these i found the most interesting and informative.

That is very interesting. I want to know!!

But obviously, it's completely possible for anyone to reach the Island...Desmond got their on his yacht....Naomi's people got their by ship and helicopter.  I anticipate knowing how the Others commute to and fro the Island....I wonder if maybe they use the sub to get to the small Island (Alcatraz), then from there, have some device that magically teleports them to other places.

This particular sentence intrests me.

Of course like everyone else, Im sure, I want to know exactly what these nefarious things are. More importantly though, I want to know why they are doing them. This answer my be self effident when the what part is revealed, but if it's not, I hope they explain it to us and dont leave us hanging.

I think maybe Im going to finish this post either on a new thread or an existing one where it'll fit better.

Just to finish this post however, I will summarize my future post.

Dharma somehow latched onto another reality and was trying to manipulate it, when it did this it brought "the others" into our reality and now they are trying to manipulate ours.
