I don't think the cats are meant to be the same cat
but were intended to look the same
and, thus, were "acted" by the same cat

I think the similarity is just another one of those coincidences, such as the bottle of whisky that Hurley and Charlie used to loosen Desmond's tongue being the same type of whisky (and an exclusive one at that) that Penny's father used when he was being contemptuous to Desmond at the "job interview"

and, of course, the fact that Patchy's cat had the same name as Sayid's love

I was never suggesting that it was indeed the same cat, I was simply asking if anyone else noticed the similarities and what their thoughts on it was. Also like jumpenjuhosaphat stated, this is LOST we are talking about, you never know what their intentions are.

Noone is mad, no need to loosen up the subject, we are all nice people  and this is a friendly forum. Sometimes we read things wrong or take them the wrong way and we all have to remember that its ok for all of us to have our own opinions and sometimes we are not going to agree with one another. Grin

Its ok, we all do it and like I said we are a friendly forum and I am sure that noone is here to make trouble for anyone else or really even knock anyone elses ideas or beliefs. I dont know about anyone else but my feelings aren't hurt.

anyway, here are two screen caps...one of each cat. the first is Amira's cat and the second is Patchy's...definatly can't be the same cat...the first one has a dark nose while the second has more white on it's face...

couldn't fit all 4 pics in one post...

the first is Amira's cat and the second is again Patchy's...Amira's cat seem to be much bigger. i think it's a maine coon cat, they can get really big and they have that fluffy hair around their necks...anyway, i know from reading this thread that we are just speculating and not saying it is the same cat...i just wanted to post pics cuz i'm bored.

i read somewhere that we will see the Nadia cat again...but the source wasn't specified so who knows.

Look at the first pictures that you posted GF......They look like totally different cats, right?  If you look really close at the forehead patterns on both cats, the patterns are exactly the same....But then when you look at the leg patterns, those patterns are completely different.

I don't think that the creators wanted to even make the cats resemble one another though, because based off of those pictures, they don't have that much semblance.
