If anyone wanted to take a look at the map that Sawyer found in the back of the VW Bus in tonights episode, I have some screen shots.  Here is one.  You can see a Dharma symbol in it, plus you can barely make out the numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42).  I highlighted those items, maybe someone else can find something more interesting in the image.  If you need any screen shots, just let me know and I'll get it for you.

I've been disappointed the last few weeks.  i was expecting an action packed episode and to me it was quite boring.  I didnt think last weeks was very good but at least I got some new information out of it.  This week I got nothing.

Well... I've been trying to figure something with this map.  I found a picture of a map that shows a little more and after looking at it, I found coordinates (45 S longitude and 290 W latitude).  Anyways after putting these into mapquest, I found the spot is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.  So they are basically between Australia and South America.  Check it though, pretty interesting.

Good finds to the both of you. I was a bit disappointed too. I thought it was a bit more comical than normal which was alright, but it wasn't the same lost. I was hoping to get some information out of the show and I didn't get anything. The only thing I can think of is if they did give information and it was hidden. Like in the map for instance. Graff, you found the lat and long on the map and determined where they could be. If thats the case and thats what they are letting us know, then we actually found out a whole lot.  My question is why would they be heading that direction? Why would they be that far south instead of more north?

Yeah, that map beat the hell out of mine, I need to upgrade to an HDTV card I think...Sad

I'm not so sure those are coordinates even though they appear to be coordinates, the global coordinates go up to 90 degrees N or S, and only up to 180 degrees E and W.  But, you can still consider 290W as being possibly the same thing as 80E.  But that's my question too, why would they be further south and east than Sydney, Australia if they were heading North-West to LA?  What do you think?

Yea I know its 180 degrees east and west and that is 290.  I basically subtracted 180 from 290 and put in the 45 degrees south.  I may have done it worng but after looking where it brought me on the map i figured it was right lol.  I'm not sure why they would be where they are.  Only thing that I can think of is that the nav system on the plane was messed up from take off.  If i remember correctly the pilot before he died said they will never find us, something (forget the exact phrasing of this) was not working properly.... That would be the only explaination I could think of.  Then again who knows where i had on that map is even where they are lol.

But by who?  The pilot didn't seem to be in on anything, but that don't mean that he wasn't.  Look at how the stewardess was being, talking about watching something.  Maybe the entire crew was in on it?  Oh, the pilot from the cockpit is the same guy that plays Matt Parkman on Heroes.

They could have been all in on it & brought to the island by Widmore!!! As we know @ the end of season 2, we seen Penny recieve a fne call saying it has happend.....i presume they were talking about the implosion!!!! Also some of the islands are made by Widmore (Suns pregnancy test)

Let me no what usee all think. I do believe this & have a number of reasons why!!!

I think that Widmore may have something to do with it, but not Penelope herself. I think she knows, obviously, but I think it may be for a different reason. Like what was posted in another thread, maybe Desmond went back at another time and told her what happened so she could go and try and save them or something like that. As far as her involvement on everything else, I think she has no clue. But then again you never know.

Thats me finally seen the episode in the UK it aired last nite. Got 2 say i overall enjoyed the episode, it was nice 2 have a feel good 1 for a change!! I do understand why some peeps weren't as pleased as me bcos there were no answers in this episode neither are we any step closer 2 any answers but none the less it was nice 2 see most losties get a happy ending.

& Crystal think ur spot on with ur previous post!!

Wow, man, you blew that out of the water Crystal.....I never even thought about that....When it was said to Penny that "It happened", I didn't really understand that at all, but that makes great sense.  Maybe he did go and tell her to look for a blip and that's how she could find him.  So she was dumping money into searching for a blip, and then they found it, and now she can find Desmond.  Nice point.

I agree with Bandy that last nites episode was a cheery episode cause we seen hurley more happier than his usual self, I was expecting him to crash the van just for that "sick" factor, but enjoyed the outcome, none the less. I liked Sawyer teaching Jin to spk english, was really amusing, one of my fav episodes of the season.

I thought it was great he was teaching him off the wall words. " things a woman want to hear" or whatever.  I do agree that seeing the sunnier side of things is a relief sometimes, but I do wish that I would have learned a  bit more information.
