i just asked about des in another thread, is he one that has to go back? jack didnt say his name though. i think when they were talking about them having to go back ben said "we" maybe there is a way for him to go back,. i do want to know why the island needs them back and what happened that was horrible back on the island.

see but if you take what they said in the video the island will reappear after sometime. just like the rabbit. he only looked like he disappeared. so the island still "there" you just cant see it.
and yeah i think that means
everyone

I dont' see why Lapidus has to go back? I mean .. the only thing that brought him to the island was Widmore, where-as with Des and all the people on the plane the island obviously brought them there.

well wasnt des sailing past and got caught in a storm or something and washed up, i think the island must have brought him more than the plane as it was des who caused the plane to crash so i definitely think des has to go back
