hmmm...
From the moment Claire said "Don't you dare bring him back", I always interpreted this to mean "Don't you dare bring him back to the mainland" not back to the island. We've always known that Aaron cannot be raised by anyone but Claire, that's what the clairvoyant man made absolutely clear, and I think that was Claire's way of saying Aaron should not be raised/taken by Kate, or anyone else for that matter.
Just my point of view.

Right, but with all the past/present/future hopping, I wouldn't discount that this might have someway of Claire visiting the future Kate, but also a possible "go-back-in-time" Kate.

Here is my far far far far far...... far fetched theory Aaron is destined to be the next choosen one, Locke discovers this and now being the leader has control over smokey who asuming can take the form of anyone on and off the island appears as claire telling Kate not to bring him back to the Island because Locke doesnt want what happened to Ben happening to him,
meanwhile Locke goes to the mainland to take care of things himself and make sure Aaron never replaces him by killing him but some Harry Potter s**t happens and Locke ends up dying!

Uh, Didn't Ben tell Jack that Locke needed to go to the island too? If he needs Locke (not one of the O6), then who else from Oceanic might he need? I would imagine that he would need everyone from Oceanic 815 that got off.
So Walt becomes a bigger character, and Locke but not Desmond, nor the Pilot (Frank?).

i think desmond may have to go back because hes been there for so long, that hes a big part of it.
i still think that that wasnt claire in kates dream. well it was claire but not claire projecting herself. i think that was like someone said smokie or just kate imaging her. although i dont really think kate was just imagining that

There is definetly more significance to Clare than we know yet. She gave birth on the island and didn't die. Her father comunicates with Jacob and her brother is Jack. Not to mention that her baby appears to be some sort of messiah or something. I really think she will prove to be a central figure in all of this.

That is a very good point. This reminds me of in Harry Potter 7, when the woman is dead, but Voldemort uses her dead body and says things through her. this may be the same kind of deal here. The island uses Jack's dad's dead body to tell Locke to move the island out of danger, it uses Jack's dad to tell Michael that the island finally lets him go, and it tells Kate not to bring Aaron back. this would mean that Claire has to be dead, which I don't know.

ok lol ive said this in a few other threads but ill say it again here anyways. you can give birth on the island as long as the baby wasnt conceived on the island.
like so sun cant give birth on the island because the baby was conceived there. claire could give birth there because aaron was conceived off the island.
and i really dont know what to think about claire
im just gonna keep hoping
