I'd like to discuss the Lost storyline in this thread, especially the ending, which I found to be pretty weird. Anyone who has not yet played the game but wishes to discover the story by themselves should not read this thread.

So at the end of the game, which corresponds with the end of season 2 (hatch blowing up, purple sky), something strange happens (other than Locke being at two places at the same time - on the dock with Elliot and in the hatch with Desmond). I don't know if the producers of the show said that what happens in Via Domus is canon to the Lost Storyline, but either way... Elliot finally reaches the boat and sails away. After he is a couple of kilometers away from the shore the sky lights up purple, loud noises, the whole shabang. And as Elliot is shielding his ears from the noise, the screen fades out and we find ourselves on the beach again, and that girl who we betrayed off the island (Lisa isn't it...) comes towards up through the debris of the plane crash. and tells "we made it, we're alive" or something along those lines.

wth... So could this have anything to do with the time traveling ? or is it just an hallucination ? What do you guys think of that weird ending ?

Something else that tickled my memory. The man Elliot was tracking was in Sydney to purchase or meet with a member of the Hanso Foundation about a virus or disease that would be used as an experiment in Sri Lanka. Now I did not play the Lost Experience but I watch the movies from it later on. If I remember well Rachel Blake was trying to stop the Hanso Foundation from performing those experiments in Sri Lanka. And I also remember a guy named Mittleverk from the Lost Experience. Is there anybody here who knows more on the subject ?

Locke: "DON'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN'T DO !!!"
NotPennysBoat: "That is getting old dude."
Locke: "If you question my faith I will knife you."
NotPennysBoat: "There ya go... that's good"

I agree it was a weird ending. Was the whole thing a dream? Did he change  the time stream to allow her to live? It is a bigger question now considering the end of season 4 with Locke in the coffin. Will the oceanic 6 be able to get back to the island and possibly bring john back from the dead.
