Harold Perrineau not to return to Lost

I've said all along how sure I was that he'd be returning, but it looks as though I was possibly wrong(imagine that).

Harold Perrineau, that actor who portrays Michael Dawson, couldn't come to an agreement with the producers of Lost, and ultimately decided on not returning to the set. Perrineau is set to star in the CBS Pilot "Demons". It's said that if the pilot isn't picked up that it's still possible that we may see the return of Michael to the island.

Personally, if the guy thinks he has better things to do than Lost, then good riddance to him. His decision should be finalized, and he should be written completely out of the show, so when his new show flops, he won't have somewhere to crawl back to. That's just my opinion though. I've always hated being second best, and that's what this guy is saying, that Lost is second best, and if his other engagements aren't met, then maybe he can make time for Lost.

Okay, just to clarify, this is still in the rumor stage, nothing as far as I know has been confirmed. So don't hold me to it.

All I have to say is if this is true, he is a damn idiot. Who wouldnt want to be apart of the biggest show thats out right now. I would, and I would do it for free. Well I would only do it for free if I could have some love scenes with Sawyer!!!! HAHA JK.

Hopfully he does come back cause his departure with walt was un-justified, I also noticed that Michael starred in a tv show called OZ set in San Quentin prison.

I think if they dont bring him back that will make a lot of ppl mad and it will ruin a lot story that they already have going. Although they are smart writers and they would come up with a way to fix it.

Mr. Eko was in Oz too.

Yeah, they'll have to come up with something creative to cover up him leaving the show if he doesn't come back. He definitely won't be back this season, no matter what.

well I think they might bring him back one way or another unless Ben sent him into a trap. Maybe returing with a search party who knows. Btw what ever happend to that Boat in the end of season 2 when the Hatch blew up and some people on a boat called Desmonds former gf.
