is anyone excited about this movie? i thought maybe since it was a jj abram's movie some lost fans might want to go see it. i want to know what the monster looks like for real, i've seen a couple things online that are supposed leaks of the monster but i doubt they are legit...but other than that. idk. it reminds me of The Blaire Witch movie with the way the camera is all shaky and supposedly footage from one of the characters. any thoughts?

It looks pretty interesting to me.  I think that it's the smoke monster... Hillarious

Blockbuster...Actually, we signed up in August, and back then it was $18.00 a month, but they've raised the prices on us twice, in 5 months, and now it's almost double the starting price.....

Well with netflix you only get the movies in the mail, with blockbuster we get the 3 in the mail the day after ordering and then when i watch those I can bring the envelopes to a store and they act as coupons and I get 3 more. So then after getting those when turning in the others I go right home and put in another online order and they are sent out the next day. So we usually have 6 movies at once a few times a week, well lately we havent been watching them as frequently, but we have them potential to rent loads of movies a week.

went and saw this movie last night. yeah...it's definatly not the smoke monster, lol. i thought it was pretty good but my husband didn't like it. he said he didnt like how they didnt really tell you what the monster thing was or where it came from. i liked it though. i know one part made me jump out of my seat...and then there were a couple parts that made me crack up laughing. i dont want to give to much away since i'm sure everyone hasn't seen it yet but there is this one quote from the movie that was really funny that i wanted to share...so stop reading this now if you don't want a teenie tiny spoiler...
when they are walking through the dark subway tunnels it's really quiet so the guy with the camera, Hud, says something like "hey remember that thing we saw on the news awhile back about that guy that came down to the subway and started lighting homeless people on fire?" and his friends are like "Hud! I don't think this is the right time to bring up that topic!" and Hud says sorry...then it gets all quiet again then he says "I'm just saying it would be really scarey if a flaming homeless guy came running at us" and then they all yell at him again.
lol, yeah i know that probably doesn't sound too funny but i guess you just have to watch and see. it was funny to me...and to end with another quote from Hud "i might actually s**t my pants in the stariwell!" lol

oh no bluben, you do get to see the monster. what i meant was my husband was just mad that you don't know where it came from or anything like that. they show parts of the monster throughout the movie and at the end you get to see it really close up. sorry if you misunderstood what i meant. Smiley
