Batman was a dying movie franchise after the second one, until the new Batman Begins, Batman went dark and thats how the Dark Knight should be represented. Go Christian Bale. What an actor he is.

I had to +rep you for that statement. The Dark Knight is king!!!

As for Spider-Man 3, though, it's a great film with just a few small hiccups.

1) Venom. Great villain for the comics, absolutely does NOT translate well to the big screen. Plus, Eddie brock is supposed to be this gargantuan giant of a man
yet Sam Raimi felt it appropriate to cast the slight, skinny frame of Topher Grace? C'MON!!!!!

2) Sandman. While he looked really cool in the film and was a very endearing, very human character, in the pantheon of Spidey villains, he's simple third-tier.
Should have been Rhino or Kraven the Hunter, IMHO.

3) Harry Osborn/Green Goblin.  With Harry's vast resources, he couldn't have come up with a better costume gimmick that THAT?! At least use one of the TON
of other suits you father left behind!!! Just slap on a coat of paint, and you're good! Plus, the whole temporary amnesia thing was just lame.

So, having said all that, i guess my major problem with SM3 were the villains.
