idk if this topic has been made before or not, but if it has, it has died out.

This topic is to discuss books. all kinds of literature: children's, science fiction, mystery, suspense, action, adventure, EVERYTHING.

Please discuss about all books here.

The first one i want to discuss is: The Harry Potter Series

I loved the Harry Potter Series and cannot get enough of it. I would kill for there to be an 8th Harry Potter book.  Did anyone besides me start bawling at the end of the 7th one?

No... I actually liked the ending! Lol, but I think I'm the only one. Maybe she'll make another one in a few years, his life after, or someting like that. Oh and I think the movie of HP5 sucked like hell! The book was so good, but they ruined it. Oh well Wink. Maybe they'll do better on 6 and 7 Tongue.

It's pretty confusing to talk about Harry Potter in English though. I read them all in Dutch and all of the names are so much diffrent, well most of them are.

I loved all the Harry Potter books! I always used to go to the line parties in London the night when the books came out - superfan. LOLLLL

Last summer, I read all 7 of the Harry Potter series, It took me like, 5 weeks to read all 7 of them :O
The 1st two took me 2 days xD. I was avctually hooked

My favourite one was the last obvoiusly, my least favourite was either the 5th or the 2nd
I disagree with Debby though, the 5th book was rubbish, but the film was the best owtta the 5 made
the films are never as good as the books, spesh the 4th film which killed the book, it missed out so much.

Apparently whilst watching the news, the last flm is gunna be made into 2 different films, which one will be released and then a couple of weeks later the other one will be.

Yeah I guess you have to be kinda into stuff like that. And if you don't like reading at all it doesn't matter which book it is, you wont like it Tongue.
I'de rather read a book then see the movie, the books are always better Tongue.

I'm not a Harry Potter fan - don't like the books or the movies. I liked the Lord of the Rings books but only got into them after I saw the films. I like writers like Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs but I tend to just read books that I think look good. I don't really have a favourite genre.

I think my favourite books would be Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and On the Road.

Oooh, I love Dan Browns books! He's the writer of the Da Vinci Code. I didn't read that book though, only saw it. But we have it in the house! I read the 'Deception Point' and Digital Fortress. They're both great! And we also have 'Angels and Demons', I'll read that after I finished 'The Stand' (by Stephen King;)).
