I find things like that cool only to a point.
I'm not super squeamish, but some things I just can't watch.
As long as I find it interesting or to be a cool learning experience, then I'm usually alright with seeing it.

the only thing i cant stand is anything that has to do with the mouth or face.  like i was flipping around the tv and came across a show where there was someone getting a botox injection.  i thought i was seriously going to hurl!  why would you want needles stuck up the inside of your lip!!! (we need a throwing-up smilie)

It went pretty good I think.
The first time I went they gave me a 10mg Diazepam pill to get rid of the anxiety. I had to take it 45 mins before the appointment so I was totally drugged up and felt drunk when I got there. This time I didn't have one to take.. so I was super nervous. But it went well.
I had the weirdest dejavu experience, if that's what you would even call it, while they were putting me out for the procedure.. it was so freaking trippy.
It was so weird also for the fact that when they told me to do things to get the IV in my hand my brain heard them and then I could feel my body responding and to me it felt like  the longest delay between the two! it was super weird.. lol. I didn't remember any of that kinda stuff from the first time, thanks to the Diazepam.
The whole dejavu thing was SO weird... I felt like I was Des and I needed to remember what was going on because I could connect it with something from the past once I was out of the procedure... idk.. lol.

For anyone that's been put out for procedures before - are feelings like that common? or am i just special? haha.

As for now, my mouth is kinda sore, but not too bad. I'm totally on the slim fast diet now! lol. But luckily since they did one side over winter break and now the other side this time, i can chew on one side of my mouth once my mouth can handle the movements for chewing! lol.
The first time i didn't turn all chipmunk-y, so hopefully this recovery will go as well as the first.

Wow, I hope my wisdom teeth never have to come out. I've had them all since I was 12..
I had 4 teeth removed too, when I was 14 I think. But they didn't drug me for it, I just went to the dentist. I had to go 2 times, he didn't want to do all 4 at once. So for 2 teeth, you get 4 injections. I really hate injections in my mouth! It hurts, and it tastes awful. And having a halve mouth that is sleeping is such a strange and funny experience. One time, I was biting on the dentist his finger, but I had no idea I was doing it. He stopped for a few seconds, I was thinking "Come on don't stop, get it over with!" and then he said "Uhm.. Could I have my finger back please?" Lol I was so embarrassed, he said it happens all the time but I didn't believe him. The last tooth he broke, there was still a piece in, and he couldn't get it out. So I had to go to the hospital a few days later, they did a little 'surgery' into my mouth, but they didn't drug me for it, just an injection into my mouth. That are 5 injections into my mouth in 2 weeks! Lol...

Oh well, that's the only surgery I ever had I think. I'm a pretty healthy girl arent I? So I can't tell you if you're special or not deadarm, but if you want to be special, then you are special! Lol

aww, thanks debby! big smile =D

gosh, that must have been bad having to go back to find that lost piece!
i know for my wisdom teeth the bottom two were so impacted they were going almost at a 90 degree angle at my teeth in front of them! so those for sure had to get cut some to get them out.
I really hope all of them got out! haha
The surgeon that did mine was phenomenal though, so i think i'm good. hehe

Here's a pic of the xray. I drew on the teeth... because it was fun.. haha.

yeah, I hope you don't ever have to get them out.
I'm 20, and the surgeon was a little concerned because of how late along i was getting them out.
the bottom two were also very much so in the nerves, so there was a slight risk of losing some feeling in my face temporarily or permanently, but i'm fine! i have all my feeling now that the drugs have worn off of the area. hehe.

i love your drawn on teeth deadarm, they are adorable! lol

i remember i had to get a baby tooth pulled out becuase it was stuck, and oh my gosh, novacaine shots hurt soooooo bad!  *shudder*

Oh great, I'm turning 20 this year... Oh well, I guess you can live with a paralysed face. That's some nice drawing lol

I didn't go to the dentist last year, I'm a bad person. I'll make an appointment this week.

hehe, thanks guys! it started out as just tracing them so they could be seen better, but i figured i'd might as well go all the way with it! haha.

when i got the one filling i have i just hated the novocaine shots i got... ouch!
for this they just gave me some gas through my nose, idk what it was. and something through an IV.
definitely did the trick! haha. being drugged up is the weirdest feeling ever! lol.

i hate going to the dentist! and now that i'm almost always never home here i just kinda don't go. but i'm pretty good about taking care of my teeth. big smile =D
