Ever since my departure from the ex/gf, i've been on the prowl for meeting a nice girl and are looking for some good ideas for 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd dates...

I'd like to see what good ideas we can come up with... not only to help me out, but for any of you single people out there!

I guess we can start with... what's your ideal 1st date? What or where would you take your date the first time meeting?

hmm its quite difficult that

needs to be somewhere where we can talk.  but im not really one personally for fancy restaurants and stuff

haha one great date i had, but it wasnt an early one was buying pizza bases and topping and we made our own pizzas for our dinner that was really fun

Making your own pizza, I like that!

My idea of a perfect 1st date... it's to go get some dinner... nothing extremely fancy... but a good dinner... and have good conversation with your date... you know, to see if the communication is there... because that to me is very important! Then maybe hit up some ice cream for dessert.

More importantly, I guess this question is for guys... would you make a move and kiss on a first date? I don't because I feel you never know if your date is really interested or is just being nice and can't wait to get out of the date haha. If there were sparks the whole date and lots of eye contact and I just knew it was there, then perhaps i'd give a smooch. Smiley

Inviting a girl back to my place is tough... because i'm at the point in my life where I should have my own place/a place with some room mates.

It's kind of hard being almost 25 and asking a girl to come back to my ROOM. Haha lame.

Yeah I would just take her out for dinner on the first date. And don't kiss her on the first date, but just act a bit flirty, and keeping things excited (does he like me or not? let her doubt a bit, it's fun). But you def need to kiss her on the second date, because you know, she could think you're gay if you don't do that. Oh and the cooking thing is a good idea, but I would do that after a couple dates, like date 5 or something like that.

ive always thought a movie first.  that way theres something to get the conversation going at dinner.  your not just sitting ther thinking "man i really like him/her but i dont know what to say!".  then dinner.  not super fancy, but good food.

no kissing on the first date, second date i guess that depends on you!  lol i dont know if i would kiss on my swecond date(mostly cause ive never had the oppertunity!)  myabe on the cheek on the 2nd, if its a shy girl.  and of course if she tries to kiss you i wouldnt turn away Wink

Soon hopefully haha... I have a few SMALL options and i'm just getting prepared.

One girl likes the zoo a lot, I don't know how that is for a first date, i'd say more like the 3rd-ish date. Heh.

I would definitely kiss on the second date... I don't want to say it's different for dates in their mid twenties rather than teeenagers, but you know... older people would probably move faster... but who knows these days with teenagers hahah.
