There are a few things ive noticed that hint at certain theories already out forward about lost and the island but ive not seen anyone else talk about them. For example, when Henry Gale (later known as Ben) says to John Locke that god dosent even know where the island is ( Season 2, Episode 18- 'Dave'). This back up the purgatory theory. What is the significance of him saying this? Please reply.

I don't think that he meant that literally.  Although, even if he did, it wouldn't back up the purgatory theory, because if God were to create a place to keep humans before their final passage to Heaven/Hell, he would have to know where it was.

It could still be hell, but it's unlikely that inhabitants of hell would still have the ability to die.

The only thing I can think of, is the "shield" around the island to keep it from view that I believe is an invisibility shield created by the Magnetism and the sea and sky.

For example, have you ever seen what happens when oil gets in water? There is a coulour spectrum (Rainbow i suppose).

Why is the sky blue at day and black at night?

Have you ever seen what happens when electro magnetism hits water and sky?

I think it's all connected. The island has the same properties of a planet.
