We never saw Jin off the Island. His scenes were flashBACKs. According to the headstone, Jin died in the crash.

I hope that someone else" other than Michael" is the 6th of Oceanic 6 , if Jin is not the 6th, the previews for last night episode said we would know all of the Oceanic 6 in the episode. I'm not clear on who is the 6th is. but if Michael is the one in the coffin in Jack Flashforward then he maybe the 6th.
