i just still for some reason think that jin is back on the island alive. and it says that jin sawyer and locke are still alive on the ilsand in the future. so wait, who does that leave, lol, i am to lazy to look.

the only thing is, if its desmond, why did no one but jack come, i would have thought penny would turn up and i would think that jack counts him as a friend

ooooh idea: unless jack cant admit that he knows him because he wasnt meant to be on the island according to their story, that would work with whoever it was but i still think penny would have come if it was desmond

OK, I just heard a rumor that in the season finally the ship explodes which changes the game plan as far as who survives, and how the Oceanic Six are chosen. I also heard that a main character is killed in the explosion. of course, last time we were told a "main" character would die it turned out to be Ruso.

I've already speculated if the bomb explodes then its probably Michael that dies...although kind of doesnt make sense since the island wont let him kill himself, and from what we have seen, it doesnt look like he has done much to protect the island...aside from disabling the freightor from actually getting to close to the island.  Shame to see Michael go like that, and how does it affect Walt?

Well it could be Des, but that probably means Ben had already gotten to Penny, as i cant picture Des being off the island and not around Penny.  The writers would be wasting a great story with one of Lost's best characters, if Des is in the coffin.  But who knows, the creators always have some odd ball twist going on.

Who would of thought at the end of last Season, you'd be hearing Jack say they have to go back to the Island?  Or this season that  Michael would end up being Ben's man on the boat?

I think the biggest problem with determining who is in the coffin, is understanding the true timeframe of Lost...If the O6 originally get back to mainland late 2004, early 2005, the coffin scene might of been in early 2007(Im only going by the fact of Jacks cell phone in the flashforward which was a Moto Krazor which wasnt out until 2006).  But hey theres only a couple more hours left til we get our/some answers.

Well, I remeber there was that news paper clipping that Jack had about the deceased being someone from NY I think so then it couldn't be Des. 1 year of waiting and now we are about to find out who's in the couffin!

Eh, im not going to get as much a shock of finding out who is in the coffin...i NEED to know more about just how is the island moving?  Im also curious as to what flashforwards there could possibly be?  The whole timeframe thing is going to screw me up eventually...
