"You will definitely see more of Jacob's cabin and it was very observant that many fans noted the presence of Jack's father inside the cabin. We'll shine a little bit more light on that."

Locke is on a journey, and like all journeys it has periods of doubting, uncertainty and frustration. There is a lot more to come about what his purpose is, and we will see an energized and activated Locke even in this season. A Man of faith might doubt and have struggles, but will emerge as even a bigger believer in faith.

A scene being filmed at the drab, decrepit concrete Waimano Home complex takes place in a hospital maternity ward. Wardrobe seemed decidedly rooted in the 1950s, from the hospital staff to the dapperly dressed men and women scattered around the set. Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) was spotted, looking especially stylish in a suit. But the center of attention was a distraught woman in her 20s, called Emily Locke.

They filmed at Leilehua High School. There was a high school logo that said "Cowin Heights knights." A filmed scene involved some kid coming out of a locker

    * Workers returned to the old Waimano Home in Pearl City, where Locke’s birth (and an apparent visit by Richard Alpert) was filmed the day before. The set was apparently a different part of the facility… but both Terry O’Quinn (John Locke) and Lance Reddick (Matthew Abbadon) were seen in the neighborhood.
    * That same day scenes were recorded high in the mountains. They were filming an on-island scene along Manoa Falls Trail, complete with mysterious DHARMA door in the grassy hillside. Josh Holloway (Sawyer), Emilie DeRavin (Claire), Daniel Dae Kim (Jin), Yunjin Kim (Sun), Rebecca Mader (Charlotte) and Jeremy Davies (Daniel) were all traipsing through the jungle.
    * at Leilehua High School in Wahiawa, the young extras were dressed in 1960s fashions (brown gingham dresses and high socks), including several cheerleaders… Attention was focused on a young man with brown hair, a collared shirt, and a severe countenance. It was John Locke at sixteen, having an intense conversation with a teacher, a green “Cowin Heights Knights” school crest hanging over his shoulder. Young Locke seemed quite upset when he said: "Don't you understand science can't solve everything!!"
    * Witnesses reported several “gorgeous” 1950s or 1960s cars and a dramatic scene in which a little girl (perhaps five years of age) runs out of a house and gets struck in the street.

The flashback will be a mythically significant outing.

Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) will turn up in the Locke-centric episode
