This is from tvguide.
Quote
Question: Tried to figure out your Lost asterisk quiz about Jack and Kate. Is it "Someone who was on the plane, who wasn't just a friend?" — Tina
Ausiello: Nah. But thanks for playing!

Question: I have a big challenge for our favorite scoop hunter: Find me a Lost spoiler concerning Claire. I know, I know, it's a rare and elusive thing. But you can do it, right?! — Fleur
Ausiello: Sure can. You've heard of Laverne & Shirley? Get ready for Claire & Kate.

Question: Someone who was on the plane, but didn't make a splash?" — Bill
Ausiello: Nah. But thanks for playing!

Question: I have a question about Lost. At the end of last season, the producers said there would only be 48 more episodes, to be divided into 16-episode chunks and spread out over three seasons. But with the writers' strike, there will probably be only eight episodes this season, not 16. So, my question: Will they tack on an additional eight episodes next season, bringing the Season 5 total to 24 episodes? — Fran
Ausiello: That's the million-dollar question, Fran. Luckily, exec producer Carlton Cuse offered to answer it for free. " We can't determine right now how we will manage production or when we will return to the air," he told me. "It completely depends on how long the strike lasts. As soon as the strike is over, we will sit down and figure that all out."

Question: "Someone who was on the plane, but wasn't even a Lostie?" — Howdavenport
Ausiello: Nah. But thanks for playing!
Claire and Kate huh?

Its some hangman weird sh*t. I don't understand it myself. They give a different letter everyday or every week or something and its supposed to reveal a spoiler.

Here is the original cryptic spoiler message from TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, which he posted on January 9th, 2008.

Quote
Question: Can you tell us anything about what's going to happen with Jack and Kate on Lost this season? — Heinzy
Ausiello: Yes, but I have to be very careful how I dole out this particular spoiler, because it concerns a pretty jaw-dropping twist — even by Lost standards. Let's see… Jaters will be aflutter when Kate shows romantic interest in future Jack, but it turns out there's another special person in her life already — someone *** *** ** *** *****, *** ****'* **** a ******.

Here are some guesses on the asterisk quiz. These answers are not correct.

"Someone who was on the plane, but doesn't have a kidney?"— Kate

"Someone who was on the plane, and didn't push a button?" — Robert

"Someone who was on the beach, but that's been gone a season?"— Melissa

Ok I think this is the answer... I found it on lostpedia.

Someone who was on the plane, but didn't have a ticket.

Question: Lost is tomorrow! We have been waiting for so long! Any scoop? — Nathan
Ausiello: A big premiere demands an even bigger scoop: I'm hearing that a significant death occurs sometime after Episode 4, but before Episode 8.

Question: I reckon Kate and Sawyer are past due for some angsty goodness, but please tell us they'll have at least one more session of sexy time before it all goes to hell! — Melissa
Ausiello: Does one innocent night of canoodling qualify as sexy time? If so, then the answer to your question is yes.
