They confirm that Desmond will be having some premonitions, and commented on whether Charlie would die in Catch 22. They wouldn't give any definite answers on that.
They did say that something momentous is going to occur in Catch 22, but wouldn't confirm exactly what it was.
They commented on "Exposé", a question was asked why they would give us a filler episode, and how disappointing it was to see such a thing. They responded by telling us that the reason that they brought Nikki and Paolo into the story was because so many fans were asking about the story of some of the other survivors. The reason that the gave us "Exposé" was to finalize the story, and to complete the Nikki and Paolo story. Nikki and Paolo are now confirmed dead, regardless of what John said about burying things on the Island. The reason that they took them away is because so many fans of the show complained about being introduced to new characters. I guess it's like a catch 22 situation...
Another question that has been asked here is about why Cerberus (The Smoke Monster) didn't go over the sonar fence. They didn't say anything definite, but did comment that it's possible that it cannot leave the ground, like was also discussed here at the forum.
It was said that it is likely that we will be finding out what the Dharma Initiative is this season, as well as what they are/were doing on the Island. I noticed that a few times during the podcast, Carlton Cuse would mistakingly begin to say "The Others", in place of "The Dharma Initiative", but then quickly corrected himself. I don't know if this is a subliminally intentional clue, or a slip up, or perhaps nothing at all. I put my money on a slip up.
The polar bears were mentioned, and it was said that there were clues this season that would tell us what use the bears had or what experimentation was being done to them, but they implied that only some of the viewers would know. Do you know? I missed that one. They said that the bears were set free or escaped from Alcatraz Island, and swam to the main Island.
Episode 18, D.O.C., is said to reveal to us a bit more about why the women die during child birth if they conceived on the Island. D.O.C. probably is acronomys for Date Of Conception.
