Locke saw (if I remember correctly) other O6 survivors when he got back from the island(i think he turned the donkey wheel). He went and talked to Sun and told her Jin was still alive. The island's not done with Jin. It needs the O6 back. Telling Sun that would get her back. That's why she went to Widmore. She knows he was on the island. We missed a very important conversation when Penny took them inside the boat and explained things after being resued. Again theory, and it may have already been mentioned because you guys and gals write a lot of great things and I haven't been able to read them all yet!

yeah i think locke went to all 6 of the survivors spouting off differant stories to get them back to the island. whether they were true stories or not is the question. i hope so cause im still hoping jins alive!

you could be right ben. I just think its an itresting question because Locke seems to be a man of honor but is obsessed with the island so I wonder if he would lie to get them back there. Like would he tell sun that Jin was still alive if he wasnt

i didnt think about John lying about Jin. And maybe lied to kate about how sawyer needs help. and hurley about the numbers. I dont know what jack has left to care about unless he goes back just because kate does.
