Hi all,i was thinking about a possible theory.Maybe as most of the

people on the island appear to have been involved in murder or like

charlie had a drug problem,hurley was in a mental hospital.They could

be in a future type of correctional facility.Were they are all in some

kind of stasis chambers  were they put them to carry out there

sentences in some kind of virtual prison.The others could be there just

to monitor the people inside the program.Ben and whitmore could have

something to do with the running it.just a thought Wink

sounds kind of far fetched to me. And not to completely destroy your theory or anything...but the producers stated that the island is real

an interesting theory, but i would feel a little ripped off if it was all just a dream or 'virtual' lol, I still think everything will have some kind of rational/scientific explanation

The others choose the ones who are special and good and know thy should fix their mistakes  and make them aware of the islands secret powers and effects..
the black smokes bastard bloodie monster helps the lost ones to remember and see if they where wrong in their lifes....

But you got the point steve ,theya are lost they lost their paths and purpose...they didnt just crashed in an island...

I have a theory that the island is a man made island that was developed for scientific research in the field of time travel, but I don't really think its true, nor this theory, I think its just an island
