Well, Dont get me wrong I am a firm beleaver in god.. But, I have come to the conclusion that if we do not serve god then we go to hell. Its written in the bible. We have freedom to worship who we wish, for god gave us that choice. Yet if we do not worship him, were damned to be in hell for enternity?? Honestly speaking is this right? How can a loving god do this?

Well, that's a deep subject.  But that's part of the reason that I <*edit*>.  I wouldn't throw my kids in the oven just because they don't believe that I exist, especially if they couldn't see or hear me, or even sense me.

Not too deep for me -- I was just confused, wondering where the topic came from or what it relates to...

I don't believe any of us going to end up in hell. It's too cruel, how can something that's so cruel exist?
And can anyone be so bad that he/she has to burn in hell for the rest of his/her days? Who deserves something like this? Okay, there maybe are some ppl who are near on deserving it, but still...
I don't think that if God exists, He wouldnt create something like hell, or allow anyone to go there. And if He can do it, I don't think He wont be sending everybody who doesn't believe or question Him, we still have free will...
Maybe just the people who killed someone or something like that.

I once saw a movie (don't remember the title or what it was about), where they showed that people who killed themself also belong in hell. I know it's just a movie, and I was pretty young when I saw that movie, but it kinda frightened me. I don't think I'll ever kill myself, for any reason, 'cause I'll be afraid to end up in hell.
'Cause after all, you have killed someone if you kill yourself...

i firmly believe in God and the fact that if you open your heart to Jesus he will help you and guide you in the right direction..And guys, if you have and opportunity to do somthing kind, even if it doesn't fit into your schedule, just do it..you feel good inside..and i think when you feel good inside like that, that is God smiling down at you. My 2 cents, even though the topic is good as dead (possible resting in hell xD)

I don't believe in God, I don't believe in Jezus, I don't believe in Mozes in Satan in Bob Marley, wait, forget the last one.
Basically, I don't believe anything sacriligious... God, Jezus, everyone in the bible, were invented by or based upon normal people like you and me. How can Religion think it's better than sience? Almost every religious story has been proven wrong, some even physically impossible, so why do we have to keep on believing it?

I once had a teacher, he taught us the bible and religion and stuff... Even HE told us; don't believe what's written in the bible... He told the greatest stories about why almost every story written in the bible is a load of, well you know. For example, when Mozes led his people to freedom? He walked for how many days and nights, I don't even remember... Well if you do the math, he would have walked around the earth, thats quite a detour...

Religion was "invented" for people to believe in better days, in better times, it was actually used sooo many times to keep people DUMB... Think of suicide bombers! They don't blow up their own asses because they enjoy it, it's because of religion.

Don't get me wrong though, I have respect for people who believe in God, they just have another idea of life, thats all...

For me, believing in God and being a Christian involves having, building, and maintaining a relationship with God. Just like a relationship with a best friend - you talk, hang out, help each other, and so on. I think a relationship with God is the same. If you are building a relationship with a person, as it progresses (assuming you like each other) you will spend more time together and become more intimate with each other. You'll share secrets and build trust. That's the same way I see things with God. So depending on where you are in building your relationship, all things might not be appropriate. You might go to church but not read your bible every day or something. Everyone is at a different step in the process, so really, I think God knows and understands where you're at, and you're not required to do a list of things just right in order to avoid hell. As long as you accept Jesus as your saviour, you won't have to worry about hell. Smiley
